Greg Runs Far
for youth mental health

In July 2022, Greg completed his 3,156 mile Run Across America — equivalent to 120 marathons from NYC to Ocean Shores, WA — together, we mobilized thousands of mental health champions and raised $140,245 for youth mental health.

Next Expedition

On August 20th 2025, Greg will begin the Mississippi River Run, a World Record attempt for the fastest run from the river’s headwaters (Minnesota) to the Gulf of Mexico (Louisiana) — and share the story to mobilize champions, raise funds, and launch Run Far Club in all 50 states.

Our mission is to spark a nationwide movement for youth mental health.

Meet Greg

When I was 16, I lost my beloved Grandpa Charlie to a stroke. Overwhelmed by depression, I turned to alcohol and painkillers. I tried quitting 100 times but was only able to get sober with the help of a daily running ritual. Running saved my life. Morning miles helped me overcome depression, meet encouraging friends, and find my path to purpose.

I was lucky to earn scholarships to my dream schools, UChicago and Cambridge, and became a youth mentor to pay it forward. Organizations I’ve founded, Moneythink and Dyad Mentorship, helped students earn over $27 million in scholarships and were recognized by the World Economic Forum and President Obama as a “Champion of Change.”

A simple philosophy guides my life and leadership, running and recovery: Keep Showing Up.
